This site owes its existence to Scott Crawford.  His initiative and enthusiasm for the game of soccer created it and inspire it still.

LAprepSoccer.com would be nothing though, without the regular input and research of soccer fans, players, coaches, and referees across the state.  And we are always looking for more help!  Specifically, we Need Help With:

  • Game, Team & District Information during the season
  • Information on past players, team histories, program histories,...
  • Technical help with site improvements
  • Financial support for ongoing fees and development expenses
  • Spreading the word about our great site!

During the High School season, we need game scores & district standings.  We would like a contact at each school who can report their team's information routinely. This doesn't have to be the coach - in fact any reliable source is welcome.  Each district should have a contact as well - someone who can keep the standings up to date and be sure we get the all district team information in a timely manner.

Keeping the site up-to-date on the Louisiana players who are in college playing soccer and who have gone to college and played soccer. These folks (young women & men) deserve to be recognized for their great accomplishments!  And to keep this as an archive of LA soccer, we have included team/school histories!

As for technical support, I need help with database and website design.  There are a lot of details that I really do not understand and I need to streamline the support of the site for my own sanity.

If you can help financially, for $200 per year, I will add your business logo to our home page.  Thanks to the LHSSCA for their support

A special thanks goes to:

  • Leu Ann Greco for the bulk of the list of girls headed to play college soccer!
  • Vic Chandhook for inputting so many New Orleans area scores
  • Brian Hall for keeping North Louisiana information coming in
  • Brother Tim Coldwell for helping organize LHSSCA
  • Doug Hamilton, the current president of LHSSCA

If you think you can help, Register as a Contact. Then send in your team scores, district standings, etc…

And again, MANY THANKS to everyone who has helped out!! Especially Scott Crawford for taking the initiative in the fall of 2000 to recognize our High School Players.

Thanks,
- Kathleen Garey
